Firefox Download Day - 8 million downloads

Despite all of the download day problems and poor organisation, it just goes to show what a huge following the Fox has… In 24 hours, over 8 million downloads. Guinness has yet to confirm the results, but it looks like the Mozilla uber-app is going to set and totally exceed the record.

Watch-list: Glassdoor.com

Now here’s a bunch of people with a great idea: A website that allows employees to post anonymous reviews of the company they work for, including the salary that they are being paid.

The website then compiles these reviews and cross references them with reviews from other companies. In this way, a visitor to the site can quickly see who’s earning what and where, as well as how happy the person is there.
