Stalking Venus

Sad news indeed. Richard Wright, Pink Floyd’s incredible keyboard player, founding band member and genius songwriter died of cancer at his home on Monday. He was 65 years old.

… imagine a condition where the strongest species has grown in such numbers as to utilise all available space in their habitat (to whit: humanity, early 21st century). Nothing can enforce a natural disaster, so evolutionary theory holds that a set of traits needs to develop to allow the creature (in our case, us) to survive under these conditions. This being the case,and intelligence having proved itself as the strongest survival trait to date, evolutionary theory dictates that differentiation of intelligence is the most likely next evolutionary ’step’.

This has got to be one of the creepiest things I’ve seen in a while. It’s not just the dude’s weirdly contorted body, the fact that the backing dancers are twice his size, or that he’s singing Bollywood style. I think what creeps me out the most is the huge armpit sweat stains. Like, ewwwww!
