Okay, so that was funny, but I’m not going to fuck about here. Smoking kills people. All independent surveys show that it’s one of the leading non-natural killers in the world. People do it because it’s addictive.

Nobody enjoyed their first cigarette. I had to choke mine down. It tasted fucking awful and made my head spin. But it looked cool, so I didn’t care. That turned into a 30-a-day habit of over 15 years, until about 3 years ago when I finally managed to quit.

Now stay with me here… I’m not just ranting off about smokes. I actually have a point to make. A recent survey done for the BBC places cigarettes at number 9 of the top 20 most dangerous of all drugs in the world. They measured according to percentage of users, number of deaths, other negative health factors, and addictiveness.

This means that ciggies are MORE dangerous than: Khat, Poppers, Ecstasy (No. 18 on the list), GHB (a date rape drug), Anabolic steroids, Methylphenidate, LSD, 4MTA (known as ‘Flatliner’), Solvents (glue), Cannabis and Buprenorphine (a class ‘C’ opiate).

Okay, now here’s my point. If cigarettes are MORE dangerous than all of the above illegal drugs, and the governments of the world won’t make those drugs legal because they’re worried about the danger… Then why don’t they make cigarettes illegal and shut down all of the facilities that manufacture them. Impose a similar sentence for possession and sale as Cannabis. That will save a HELL of a lot more lives than are saved by keeping all those others illegal!

Think about it: If they legalised Khat, Poppers, Ecstasy, GHB, Anabolic steroids, Methylphenidate, LSD, 4MTA, Solvents, Cannabis and Buprenorphine, and instead banned cigarettes, there would still be less deaths and health problems than keeping all of those drugs illegal and smokes legal.

Those fuckers are killing my friends and family, goddamnit!! Governments: Either stop the hypocrisy and legalise everything, or keep maintaining that you’re acting in our best interests and ban cigarettes!
