Inside a modern Zeppelin
The New York Times has a fairly interesting article on the modern airship and the people who are trying to turn them into a common sight in the sky. This pic is of the inside of a Zeppelin NT flying over the southern part of Germany.

The article basically waffles on a bit about global warming and the need for transport that doesn’t rely on massive amounts of fossil fuel. It also covers the Deutsche Zeppelin- Reederei company - successor to the builders of the Hindenburg, which crashed and burned all those years back (70 to be precise).

The article also talks about some French architect nutcase called Jean-Marie Massaud, who wants to build a massive airship that contains a luxury hotel with accomodation for 50 people. He calls the project the Manned Cloud. The above pic is an artists impression of the ship.
