Guerilla Gardening

Richard has been doing various forms of what he calls ‘Guerilla Gardening’ for years. He started by planting some flowers in the grounds around his block of flats and started a blog about his experiences.

Something in what he was doing has captivated the interest of others around the planet. Richard’s blog is now the electronic flowerbed for a ‘growing movement’ of people to coordinate and execute their floral attacks on ugly wasted common space.

Wrapping it is going to be a bit of a bitch, but you know what? If you like me enough to splurge over a million euros on one of the 20 custom-built 2009 model Lamborghini Reventóns, I’m sure you can afford to pay someone to do [...]

The parable of the banana

Johann Hari is not a banana.
What he is, however is a fucking great journalist. He writes for The Independent, which is a little corner shop newspaper if the world is your city, and the United Kingdom is the corner shop.
He’s also done major pieces for most international bigwigs like the New York Times, Sydney Morning [...]
