Foxmarks now works with Firefox 3
The incredibly simple and unbelievably useful Foxmarks plugin has finally been updated to be compatible with Firefox 3 beta.
This means that you can now keep your bookmarks synchronised easily across all the computers you use without having to stay in boring old Firefox 2.
Foxmarks allows you to easily create a bookmarks account on either their server or your own, which allows you to keep a synchronised central version of all your bookmarks in one place.
Once you’ve done the initial login and setup, it runs quietly in the background doing one simple task very well - keeping your bookmarks sychronised.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve blessed this program after finding a link at home, only to need to reference it at work. With Foxmarks, as long as I add the URL to my home bookmarks, I know it will be there when I get to work (or on any other computer with Firefox and the Foxmarks extension installled.
It’s brilliant stuff. If you surf/research a lot, and use bookmarks, you’ll simply love this plug-in. Go get the latest Foxmarks over here!
What do you mean you don’t use Firefox? WTF is wrong with you?!
