Stalking Venus

Street artist, Will Self (better known as Slinkachu) is the guy who brought the art project ‘Little People’ to the streets of London.

He created tiny little figures and placed them into unusual or interesting poses on the streets of London and then photographed the scene. These tiny dioramas were often so small that they’d be very difficult to spot unless you were actually looking for them.

In the example below, the postbox on the left is the actual-size real life postbox in London. The tiny person is not even visible at the base of it. The photo on the right shows the detailed model at the base of the postbox. Amazing!

Slinkachu has embarked on a new project with his little people, that’s taken the concept to a whole new level. He’s started to incorporate live creatures. The first, in what will hopefully be many more, is called the Inner City Snail - A slow moving street art project.
